Weekend away in Cardiff in WalesI lived in cardiff for 3 years and loved the place..I went this weekend to Cardiff so thought I'd tell you a few places worth going to. A few place worth a good look. Some Weekend away websites plus other stuff.
Places to go in cardiff and what you can do....Well I went to cardiff this weekend to see the final of the rugby six nations. The place was booming, complete madness as some 50-60,000 rugby fans watched the match from one of the best venues in Europe the Millennium Stadium http://www.millenniumstadium.com...
I was not one of the lucky ones to get tickets but hey never mind..
Whats good about a weekend in CardiffCardiff city centre is so small, it takes minutes to walk from the one side of town to other...I love this as you can shop with ease.. London is a nightmare in my opinion to shop as you need to travel inbetween shops on a bus/trian/underground unless you can handle Oxford St (yuck) So the shopping good and easy.... Loads os little shops tucked away from the main streets in Archards... Not only are the shop good but FOOD!... I love food it makes me live... :-)Places to note: 173 Kings Road in Pontcanna Just off catherdal Rd.. Why? It has about 5 top class restaurants from Great pizza the realy good curry... Others include: Fish = Scallops Restaurant in cardiff bay http://www.scallopsrestaurant.com/ On ST Marys street your find my Fav... Can remeber the name of it and can't find it yet... But its right at the end of St Mary's street bar one bar... Its at the opasite end to the castle on the left hand side and is building before "sams bar" you go into a doorway that leads upstairs and your in... |
